Solid trade, significantly less asking from Chuck, compared to what you wanted from me!

How so?Nick wroteCOLONSolid trade, significantly less asking from Chuck, compared to what you wanted from me!
Brouwer vs Bozak is close
Hamonic vs Green is close when you account for their cap hits + potential improvement from Hamonic.
And you wanted an add...

Re: PIT/MTL Blockbuster
Hamonic isn't close to Green IMO. Green is a hits & BS machine on top of a super top end scoring dman. Hamonic is simply well rounded.

Re: PIT/MTL Blockbuster
You and I differ in how valuable cap hit is. I value the cap hit of a player immensely. Hence my team has so many players ~3M or less - Brodziak (2.833), Sutter (2.067), Downie (2.650), Brouwer (2.350), Burrows (2.000), Simmonds (1.750), Clutterbuck (1.400), Klein (1.35), Gunnarsson (1.325), Hamonic (0.875)Nick wroteCOLONHamonic isn't close to Green IMO. I would take Hamonic at 0.875 every day over Green at 6.083

Yep, when it suits you, you value cap. When you're sending cap it seems to rarely be of concernSuperMario wroteCOLON

Team situation changes how desirable a saving of cap can be, but IMO it does not change what a player is worth, good cap management is easy to track, & currently with $15.96M in cap space, saving cap is of little interest to me. 6M for Green is easily worth it if he even has an 'okay' season by his standard, no doubt .875 is worth it and then some for Hamonic, but it doesn't mean he's going to help you win a week more.
Also... I have 15 FULL time NHLers under 3M, it's an obvious model to afford (easily) the 4 players over 6M, Giroux helps too

1. Hamonic does help me win a week more.Nick wroteCOLONAlso... I have 15 FULL time NHLers under 3M, it's an obvious model to afford (easily) the 4 players over 6M, Giroux helps too
2. Your 15 full timers under 3M are not nearly as good as the ones I listed.
3. When your team is as good as mine, you will need Hamonic way more than Green and he will instantly become more valuable - let me rephrase: To a team that has a chance of winning, Hamonic is far more valuable than Green. Happy

Re: PIT/MTL Blockbuster
Listening to your trade offers can feel personal, sometimes a harmless jab back related to the sales pitch, can be comforting.
1. More then Green? Unless you were fibbing to me or changed your mind on what stats you will dominate, Green helps the categories WE value a lot more then Hamonic does. (G/A/Pts/STPTS/SOG)
2. I sure as hell wouldn't trade them for yours, matter of opinion I'll have to say.
3. I don't think you can honestly say that I " don't have a chance of winning".

2. I will let you continue thinking this as it is my competitive advantage
3. Your team will get dominated by my team, BOS, TOR. Conference semis (didn't you lose to OTT here last year?) is as far as you will go until you get #2.
