You'll never get Pickard for cheaper. You fall into the class of GMs who constantly values players more when you own them. Carcillo for Pickard was not a bad offer at all.KapG wroteCOLONWhy the fuck would I trade you carcillo for Pickard? He isn't worth that lol................

didn't know brodeur is a very tradeable asset............ at least i have a laugh before my sleepKapG wroteCOLONthis is a giant heap of steaming horse shit right hereSuperMario wroteCOLONLast night was the first time I shopped Brodeur lol. Brodeur is a very tradeable asset btw - NJD is one of the BEST teams in the last 2 months of every regular season. He can be moved to many contenders. Josh did well for himself in this deal.

I'll gladly never pay more for Pickard.SuperMario wroteCOLONYou'll never get Pickard for cheaper. You fall into the class of GMs who constantly values players more when you own them. Pickard, an AHL goalie who might not even become an NHL backup, is not worth a hit/pim machine like carcillo who can also put in 20-30 points. Sorry shiv, im not a fucking retard.
You say I value players more when I own them. Maybe, maybe not. Thing is, I don't own any seniors on my team, so if you wanna come get one of my players, who are all young, you are going to have to pay. If you don't want to I don't really care

PS. I'm guessing you also still think the st louis 1st 2013 for Pickard is fair too eh?

I'll gladly hold him onto he gains more value lol. Especially since I'll have no goalie in a year, then maybe Pickard can help me out.

Wasn't aware we are going to be allowing AHL stats to count towards the BBKL.Sensfanjosh wroteCOLONI'll gladly hold him onto he gains more value lol. Especially since I'll have no goalie in a year, then maybe Pickard can help me out.
Re: A Little Wake and Trade: PIT/CGY
Yup, and I'm still holding out for an actual good goalie, Cedrick Desjardins.
Oh wait.. Nope... I just went out and gor the 2nd most winningest goalie in the NHL last year

I find it strange that you are so vocal trashing the trade, whereas Chuck, Nick and Shiv seem to think its closer to fair. I don't think I need to drag up the stats to show that perhaps they are more entitled to judge value than you?KapG wroteCOLONWasn't aware we are going to be allowing AHL stats to count towards the BBKL.Sensfanjosh wroteCOLONI'll gladly hold him onto he gains more value lol. Re: A Little Wake and Trade: PIT/CGY
I can hardly see why Shiv thinks it's fair.
Re: A Little Wake and Trade: PIT/CGY
I was offered more for my system than what josh took. I had to say no.

Am I supposed to be impressed by you name dropping 3 GMs?Sensfanjosh wroteCOLONI find it strange that you are so vocal trashing the trade, whereas Chuck, Nick and Shiv seem to think its closer to fair. Chucks team is pretty overrated. (no offense meant here Chuck, Josh brought you into this, I'm just stating an opinion)
Shiv thinks any deal he makes is going to be fair.
PS you act like I am the only one trashin this terrible trade which I am not. What stats you wanna drag up? The ones where they have made the playoffs? Big deal, 2 seasons ago I missed the playoffs by about 4 minutes of shtoi. Last season was just bad, had lots of injuries but still wouldn't have really mattered probably.

You just talk a lot for a team that finished just ahead of my shitty team last year.

Re: A Little Wake and Trade: PIT/CGY
Pickard is garbage. Not sure why we are even discussing him.

Wait.. so... is this the guy that signed in Sweden or the other guy? Because if it's the guy who left for Sweden, this thread has just gotten exponentially better.
