Ya but niks stability/skating isn't close compared to Joes level. There's a reason why he can carry his team to playoffs every year! I (but not win)

Eric Lindros?

All it takes is one open-ice hit or freak injury.

no guys. u don't gt it. Joe isn't a lucky guy. He keeps his head up. has excellent mobility puck retention and decent amount of speed as well at the same time, great stable feet on the ice from his martial arts training. hes on another lvl and I wish nothing but a Stanley cup for him soon. Phion ur now talking a totally different case where a player size don't mean anything. a player of any calibre and any stature and skills can get into a freak open ice hit accident.

Paul you're making way too much sense nowadays - also ignore the trolling. BBKL analysts know nothing.

so there's one thing they have in common :P good point :?

I don't consider Jumbo lucky for his lack of injuries, the same way I didn't consider Mats, Lidstrom, Ignila, Niedermayr or Sakic Lucky. Complete skill set players who are aware of the ice surface and physically superior (in one way or another) than most other players on the ice. They don't have to sacrifice their body to be of the highest impact for their team. But at the same time don't kid yourself, these guys played through injuries that likely sidelined less-committed players - in addition to not having the frequency of bad incidents on the ice that lead to injuries.
