Stafford is better than Clowe. More goals, assists, points, +/-, sog, gwg, fow, shtoi and only 7 less hits.

Not to mention everybody in Buffalo was horrific last year and Stafford is the 3rd best offensive player on the Sabres whereas Clowe is behind: Thornton, Marleau, Couture, Pavelski, Havlat in San Jose.

yeah, you should realize that once Clowe and Stafford are not considered far apart, adding the best player of the deal to a wash makes it a rape.

on average on 3 seasons Clowe dominates bbkl stats (some are a wash, he destroyes Stafford in the others).

point totals over the years have clowe > stafford and clowe also gets more hits and pims. Stafford had the one ridiculous year where he had 30 goals in 60 games.
