I hear this every year. And every year only 2 to 3 players from each draft actually play in the NHL right after being drafted.
In the last 5 years on average there must be at least 4+

his numbers are legit but IMO are a product of playing on a bad team.

I remember saying this to Scott and him calling me an idiot. The guys H2H numbers aren't in question but imo his play, in EVERY season, has been questioned by the coaching staff and fan base. I personally wouldn't bet a 7th that he comes close to playing in every game. Ceci is one of the most NHL ready Dmen in this draft and although I don't think he makes the team this year, he could though, he is a lock for the next season. I just think this is a straight up home run for steve, basically got Ceci for a guy like Nate Prosser.

No bueno for Peckham as well. The player is always more important then the # to me; guys that look way better then the # suggest are poised to swing up, some guys have the opposite going for them, their # are good but the actual player is junk -> peckham is one of those, IMO.

Now, if they do it 3+ years then it's time to just admit they do it ugly, but they do it. I think the saying is something like, " fat chicks have kids too" ?

The fact that Murray has said this combined with his performance and coupled with an aging/ bad d core in Ottawa leads me to believe he has a decent chance of making it. All I meant was he's not years away as some mentioned on page one.

Ceci is right at the top of 1st year prospects with chance to make the nhL.

Murray is the top fwiw, IMO.
