Re: PIT/SJS Easy Peasy
Confirmed. Ribeiro will light it up in WSH but slowly gaining some depth here

Re: PIT/SJS Easy Peasy
This is not that good of a depth, IMO
Re: PIT/SJS Easy Peasy
pheww. for a second there I forgot I dont value your opinion. I was a little hurt there for a moment.gooker wroteCOLONThis is not that good of a depth, IMO
FTR I offered at least three GM's two for ones similar to this where I was actually getting less value and they turned it down. So imo this was a pretty good deal when taking all my previous discussions into consideration.

Re: PIT/SJS Easy Peasy
Once the JVR @ Centre experiment fails, Bozak will once again be playing between Kessel and Lupul again, surely to hit 50pts.

Bingo. That experiment could even fail in preseaon or practice. The guy is a natural winger, it might be clear from the get go that it isn't going to work. Even if it does, that just means more short handed time while still landing some pp and hitting 30-40 points. Im still ok with that.Shep wroteCOLONOnce the JVR @ Centre experiment fails, Bozak will once again be playing between Kessel and Lupul again, surely to hit 50pts.

yea as him playing winger in Phi worked so well, he is a sure thing at C. I'd have more faith with Kessel at C tbh, at least he played C at higher levels.Fair Deals Steve wroteCOLONthe JVR experiment will not fail, you losers

Losers

Re: PIT/SJS Easy Peasy
JvR played C at the same level Phil did... Both were NCAA centres, but after his draft year James switched to the wing.
Anyways, skill set is there, position can be taught. There is very little harm in trying it, weirdest thing is how much attention it's being given, guys like Kane, Kane, Skinner, Benn, Sharp, Marleau, Jussi, all switch positions throughout their career. Stamkos was basically a W until this past year.Hell Burns went from C to D, Red Kelly did the opposite.

Re: PIT/SJS Easy Peasy
No one said there is any harm in trying it. But this is a classic case of trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. In fact, I bet this is Burke and Randy positioning for other trades. JvR will roll with Grabo. Lupul Bozak and Kessel, unless we get you know, an actual C.
