I am convinced Billy is a top 5 GM in this league. Guy doesn't get enough credit from people, including me lol.Fair Deals Steve wroteCOLONbilly was low on cap?

He's definitely a top 30 GM, not sure how much higher i'd go than that though.

I'm stunned by that statement but just means you'll be able handle some of the eventual raises for your young players.

(Temporary) cap of $70.2 million and floor of $54.2 million...if they don't reach an agreement and they mentioned they may actually play without a new CBA if they're at least making progress. There will be difference numbers with the new CBA...assuming they still keep the cap.

Re: TradeBreaker: BUF/OTT
to extend on what Scotty said....
I think the cap this year won't be any lower than 70.2 mil. NHL teams are already spending around this cap, so i think if/when a new CBA is reached it will include a cap of 70.2 this year, and possibly dropping the year after.
That seems to be the plan (at least from what i've read and seen) for the new CBA.

Re: TradeBreaker: BUF/OTT
70.2 is a result of 57% of league revenues, the owners want it to be 50% so a 7% cap drop could happen at most.
