Actually kind of tired of the same bullshit offers, Shep. I don't think I have tried to low-ball someone in a very long time -- my most recent message to you reflected that. Lately, I have been offered pretty hilarious offers for Palmieri, Sutter, Schenn, and Backstrom. All of which I politely declined. I've been fair, reasonable, and open-minded. Very annoying when I'm asked to come on MSN and get offered something so profoundly stupid, I have to take a deep breath for having my time wasted.

I'm going to go enjoy the rest of my summer without interference from stupidity.

Also, this isn't an attempt to just say fuck you to this league. There are a lot of quality GMs here. I will remain active though. Once a week, I will log on and answer messages, participate in league wide discussions about policy, or welcome a new-comer/say farewell to another GM.

Being told to come on MSN for an offer is always a good warning that a low-ball is coming.

However all GMs give good and bad offers and rarely have that intention; trades happen because of either an alignment of value and disparity in need, or a positive direction but misalignment of value. Low-balls happen for the opposite and same reasons.

Definitely not worth getting yourself worked up about - say no and move on :P (I know none of this was directed to me).

Because I'm going to enjoy my summer instead of losing sight of the long-term enjoyment I play on getting out of this place.

That's the right approach. Although I cannot relate or truly understand how the BS feeling builds up, some time away is easy to do right now!

I was the same way when I first joined, but I know that I brought it upon myself. I'd like to think that I'm easier to trade with now.
