Re: SJS/DAL : Goalie Swap
I like it for Bry, by quite a bit tbh....not even sure how he managed to get a 1st as well.

Re: SJS/DAL : Goalie Swap
Hackett
Well, looks good for Shook.
Gets the better G (and i expect MIN to get better), the better prospect.. and a 1st?
That's not the entire Wild system though

Re: SJS/DAL : Goalie Swap
My reasoning for the deal
Josi is a very underrated Dman, I basically add an NHLer without subtracting any. He will be very good one day.
I believe Niemi > Backstrom, when you consider age:value.
Stalock is no chump either.

Re: SJS/DAL : Goalie Swap
Niemi will also get more wins which is the only goalie stat that can be perdicted even close to accurately and is why I wouldn't add alot to get min system. Backstrom is all but done imo but I am going for somewhat of a rebuild so getting some better goalie futures was big for me and I unlike most, love MIN's drafting and outlook on moving forward. This is the first of quite a few youth moves for the Sharks, expect more shortly.

you're defnitely not alone, surprising if most disagree.shooker wroteCOLON I unlike most, love MIN's drafting and outlook on moving forward.
Re: SJS/DAL : Goalie Swap
also like MIN moving forward, dunno how Shook got the first in there, given he got the better goalie.
Re: SJS/DAL : Goalie Swap
Woulda thought Pete would be the team getting the 1st back in the deal.
What kind of black magic did you use on him Shook?

Re: SJS/DAL : Goalie Swap
But I can see how the SJS TEAM could be viewed more valuable, + roster dman.
Re: SJS/DAL : Goalie Swap
Maybe if he had the SJS goalie who may actually turn into a starter down the road....Tony owns him. Can't recall his name.Nick wroteCOLONBut I can see how the SJS TEAM could be viewed more valuable, + roster dman.
Nittymakki is trash

Re: SJS/DAL : Goalie Swap
Greiss ... I predict he'll be the starter by November
Niittymaki isn't even on the team anymore. They waived him and his cripple ass ... he played in the AHL for a bit. His contract expired and he'll most likely be in Europe.

That's the one! I think that was a KEY pickup for you last season.Tony wroteCOLONGreiss ... I predict he'll be the starter by November
