Dion Phaneuf = our new leader in the quest for the holy grail, aka lord stanley's mug, aka the stanley cup
Shea Weber = obvious choice for NSH after trading away the Jugg-Arnott.. dominant Dman in all aspects...
Oddly enough, same age, same draft year & on the same BBKL team... you can add Mike Richards to those categories as well.. Who else from 2003 is a captian? Eric Staal is, Getzalf seems like an obvious choice for the ducks, Brown in LAK, Parise is the heir apparent in NJD (once extended), Kesler in Vancouver is the fan nominee to take over from Lou, and IMO Horton will wow all his doubters, and in BOSTON will become the player he has the potential to be... Pavelski has shown the stuff of captains as well, no clue what he's like in the dressing room though
Such an insane draft year, already 5 NHL Captains at just 25 years old... and IMO with be 7 before the start of the 2011-2012 season.
