Blake wheeler is not only a plug at the nhl level but sucks in the DEL as well. If I didnt know who he was, I would have never know he was an nhler. Least inspiring play I have ever seen. Stastny though, looked like an nhler playing a game of pickup hockey againstplayers in Campbell river. I hope this gives him the confidence to get his nhl career back on track.

The fans were unreal though. Filled with team songs and were loud start to finish. Incredible experience watching a game here. Going again next Sunday and have a ticket in the home team holigan section!

Billy if I had wheeler, he'd be on the market. He had three gimme's and four other quaility chances and couldn't beat a goalie that cant stop slow wrap arounds along the ice. He also took two selfish penalties negating pp's. He is acting like a rockstar but playing like Alexander Daigle.

DEL for the year! Its no nhl but I like it better than the khl thats for sure.

I own that plug and he was a fucking beast in BBKL last year. He doesnt give a shit if hes not playing in the NHL. Hes a top line player who can dominate down low and has great hands. I know his attitude has always been the issue but in BBKL terms he is MONEY!!!

Wasn't top 10 on his team, Jason Ulmer made his look out of place and Brett Festerling made him his bitch defensively. I hope it was an off game but ive seen enough wheeler to know that a good game is less likely.

I'm not sure what he played like in the game you saw Shook but he was pretty awesome last year (64 points doesn't just happen)...But I realize some people just hate some players lol

I saw close to 40 Winnipeg games last season, most in the second half, and I can honestly say that Blake Wheeler was the most consistently dominant winger I observed in that time. Suffice it to say, I completely disagree with Bryan, Wheeler demonstrated that he can produce, and produce consistently last season.

Lots of us watched lots of Jets, never heard him referred to as their best player. I believe I hold the title of the longest believer in Blake Wheeler, and he lost it for me last year, despite his numbers being improved. One of Bryan Little, Andrew Ladd, Blake Wheeler, Zach Bogosian, Tobias Enstrom, Big Buffy, and of course their keeps - were their best player on many nights - rarely did I finish watching a game saying Blake was the most dominant Jet.

Size, Speed and sometimes hands -- rarely any decision making ability, and rather poor defensive play. The most consistent thing about Blake is how soft his play is. One of the most impressive rookies I had seen in a long time, the player he is today, is not what he SHOULD have been. Still a solid top 6 winger, has a neat tool-set, but is not anything to write home about, anymore, in my opinion.

Fuck I hope he brings that on Sunday Kareem. I am not being biased here shiv, the home town fans booed him on a PP in the third despite being up 3-0, that shows they also were disapointed with his efforts. I don't just hate him but wow he looks awful and I am 100% sure if you have watched you would agree. thats three games I have watched in a row and honestly I doubt he would have points if you remove stastny. Hopefully I see the Wheeler everyone else see's on sunday night. I am sitting with the hooligans and getting wasted so I do not want to be let down or he will be heckled.
