Looking back.. this draft is very interesting.. how would u have picked if the draft starts now? (lol looks like hfboards)...

some Book-keeping issues... the first round picks (four of them) labeled PHI picks were in fact TBL (Hall, Fowler, Bjustad & McFarland). I believe the rest of the draft has them tagged correctly.

And this is why we don't change teams any more RIGHT NEEL AND SHOOK.

Their situation is worsened by the avatar/sigs in common... or whatever mind-trick things they do.

Draft happened soon after joining the league, and unfortunately i didn't inherit any first rounder.

But so far i'm pretty happy with the outcome of my 8 picks:

2nd #33 Calle Jarnkrok
was my first pick and has certainly been keeping up with my hopes of being a worthy replacement for the missing 1st rounder.

2nd #54 Johan Larsson
it was painful waiting for him to drop till 54, but seems like he was worth the fears. Happy with this pick.

3rd #67 Sondre Olden
Fine with this project pick cause it brought me Vatanen soon after.

4th #93 Marcus Sorensen
still like the game he plays, but needs to stay healthy and grow physically to play it consistently at top level. To answer the question in the thread starter, i would pick Hakanpaa instead, despite his damn ACL injury.

4th #99 Taylor Aronson
coming off a so&so season, but i don't know who i would pick instead. Next year will be important.

4th #114 Mathieu Corbeil-Theriault
i think he has shown improvement, but traded him very early because of roster limit. Could have picked Mrazek instead, he went in our 7th round.

5th #138 Konrad Abeltshauser
still fine with the pick, but traded him to get Bonino.

7th #209 Frederik Andersen
second last pick of the draft, looking like a steal at that point. Unfortunately i had to trade him soon in the Mikko Koivu deal to stay under the roster limit: he didn't have a good start the season after the draft and he was my last pick, so he ended up being the odd man out.


BBKL 7th round is looking pretty good despite all the missing picks.

Sometimes I wonder if any of the rando prospects owned on BBKL ever google themselves and find they are being traded or something in our league.
