I will give the new GM my spread sheet -- Mike, send me a PM for your email so I can forward it to you. At this point, I'm trying to get things together for the Vancouver Canucks, but getting some of the worst fucking offers I have ever seen since Frank was here. It's just a horrible waste of time. I shouldn't get worked up over this, but my time is my time and when I feel like it's being wasted like this:

Or getting offers of a fourth liner and a back-up goaltender for Brandon Sutter and Brayden Schenn... then there's no sense in trying to work things out with 28 other GMs who have no interest in talking maturely or reasonably any more. I took a break for a duration I felt was necessary to find enjoyment in this league, but it's not working. Nothing I post in the forums is adhered to when I make very specific requests that I feel are fair, reasonable, and/or have a logical basis for the price I have for certain players/assets. Mash was right -- this used to be a pretty fun and fair league. At this point, it's pointless to try and fight the uphill battle of gaining pleasure out of what should be a fun endeavour -- not a painsaking one.

Congrats to those who wanted me out, you win.

Note: I will stick around to observe and post -- much like what Kareem is doing. I respect the great majority of you, but I no longer wish to participate as a general manager.

Mostly the reason I left to begin with. I would suggest waiting until the season is closer, but it's your call ... It takes a while, but you eventually reach step 4 - acceptance!

You have no one to blame but yourself. If you act like an raging asshole, you'll be treated like a raging asshole. Trust me, I know from experience and I'm still trying to win over some of the other people in the league.

Like I told Kyle, I felt bad about what I said because it does seem like you are making a more honest attempt to not be that person.

Despite us never really getting along/ agreeing on value etc you were always good to talk to regarding deals with others, baseball etc. To bad you feel you need to walk away as the league needs more active, interested gms like you. At the very least now you can spend more time helping your hurting team in BBBL

It's not even your fault. It's mostly mine for having the expectation that when I make an offer, it should at least be responded to or sometimes countered in a reasonable time-frame. Your offer was just the tipping point, but hardly the reason why I'm not having fun. Shiv and Shep knows that better than anyone else here -- he makes an offer, I make sure to respond quickly with either an outright no, or a counter if I'm interested. They do the same for me when I make the offer. Just want you to know that -- it's not your fault. It's an epidemic right now. It's been on-going since Kareem and Scott left.

And oddly enough, Scott and Shep are in another fantasy keeper league with me and 12 other GMs. I spend more time on that league than here. Just goes to show how extremely difficult it has been for me to log on here and work out trade discussions. Even if nothing culminates into a trade, I still get some enjoyment out of having a discussion.

And Lee: I've made it an utmost priority to try and mend fences with you. Talking about Diablo for one. Not sure why I was getting the irritating responses from you, but whatever.

its the offseason though man, I would suggest not quitting, if your not having fun at the moment. then take a break, fuck off, do what ever. check in once and awhile.
but we both know that league is and will be enjoyable again once the season is going and we can all be competitive again.

If people low ball you just tell them to fuck themselves. How else do you think me and shiv used to hate eachother.

You're right. They do happen to everyone Kyle. And maybe I am overreacting. Yet, I haven't had one good offer since March or February. What does that say about the quality of the league?
