Yeah, Ill be rooting for a VAN-OTT final, but in all likely hood I think PIT will win the cup. Too much elite talent and overall competency.

Round 1 barely any thought predictions:
LAK (8) upsets VAN
STL (2) beats SJS
CHI (6) goes long with PHX
NSH (4) escapes DET
NYR (1) pummels OTT (sweep)
WSH (7) escapes BOS
PHI + PIT is everything it's amped up to be, and PIT (4) pulls out ahead.
NJD (6) squeaks past FLA
meaning i get:
STL vs LAK where LAK (8) surprises
NSH vs CHI really no clue here, but for fun's sake lets say NSH (4)
and out east:
NYR (1) vs WSH where King Henrik starts getting serious Conn Smyth talk
PIT vs NJD although I'd love to say NJD, I simply cannot see PIT (4) losing here w/o serious injuries.
Continuing on:
LAK vs NSH
NYR vs PIT
Because I love the 8 seat: LAK vs PIT finale with Crosby winning the 2nd of his career.

I think the Devils are a darkhorse...the team out of the 5-8 seeds in either conference with the best chance to go on a long run.
