anyway, this happened last night. i want to throw up. one of the most horrific/tragic injuries i've seen.

warning: if you do not want to see a kid break his leg and the bone poking out of his sock, do not watch.

Doesn't seem like he lost much blood, though it's hard to tell. A very similar injury just happened with Joba Chamberlain. But he lost a lot of blood and reportedly was considered to be in life-threatening condition by the time he was taken to the hospital.

yea looks like at least a partial disarticulation of the ankle (fibula gone, tibia lateral gone, medial intact).

one of the worst IR's I saw when I played was in a real mess of a ruck, my face and an opponents right in front of each other. We were stuck, nothing doing. In rucks, you'll have people get yanked over to the other side off their feet by the opposing player to take them out of the ruck to an offside position.

This happened to an opponent, and as he was reaching back w/ his legs to push off (but he was off his feet at this point) he connected with the guy's head in front of me right at the temple. I will never forget that sound, not the light just go right out of his eyes.

That was scary I must admit. He regained conciousness eventually; Hope the guy's okay now, but i won't forget that.

I'm not going to watch the video because, well, I'm a softy but it sounds rather gross. haha

That is what I call delicious.

The video isn't that bad imo. I was expecting an open wound, there's none to been seen on that video (at least I think).

yah I was expecting worse to be honest. It was a terribly horrific injury, and you can definitely see the guys bone sticking out of his sock, but i was expecting gore and stomach turning stuff lol.

im fine with gore. blood, guts, severed limbs, whatever, ill shrug it off.

broken bones, dislocations, knee injuries make my stomach turn though. pretty much anything where something is pointing in a direction it shouldn't be.
