A couple offseason questions

1. Is the plan to have the waiver draft around the same time as last season (around September)? It's only one round this year so I didn't know if that was going to affect when it would happen.
2. Can we carry more than allowed the number of contracts and salary now or after the NHL regular season? Non-playoff teams' seasons are over but we've still got to accumulate GP and submit lineups each week. I assume we still have to adhere to those rules until our season is over.
Thanks!

In the CC it was not mentioned that its reduced format could affect its date, so right now that's not expected to change. Not saying this is set in stone though.

No, aside from GP stuff, teams have been considered to start their off-season (hence not being subjected to in season limitations anymore) as soon as they are eliminated.. i guess the fact they are allowed to trade as soon as they are out also suggests that.
Besides, teams fighting for GP minimums usually are way below the salary cap, so taking away cap&roster limitations can hardly be a factor in helping them to reach the GP minimums...
