Nathan Horton's tenure with the Panthers appears to be coming to an end, as the young right wing is expected to be traded within the next 10 days, reports the South-Florida Sun-Sentinel.
"It would not surprise me at all if he's dealt by the draft," Horton's agent Paul Krepelka told the paper. "If it happens, it happens."
Horton, 25, has three-years left on his contract at an annual salary cap hit of $4 million. His no-trade clause kicks in July 1.
According to the Sun-Sentinel, several teams are interested in Horton, including the Buffalo Sabres.
The paper suggests the Sabres could move Derek Roy or Tim Connolly as part of a deal for Horton.
Various reports have also linked the Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens and Vancouver Canucks to having interest in Horton.
Meanwhile, it's also believed the Panthers are actively shopping center Stephen Weiss.
Goalie Tomas Vokoun is not expected to be moved, however, despite being the subject of many trade rumors.
