Welp, now that I have Boston's three best forwards I should move one of them.

Centre preferred but not required.

You tell him I don't communicate with the second tier.

Lol, there is no second tier in Boston and if there was Krejci would be on top looking down. (maybe not in BBKL terms due to lack of hits and SHTOI!) Every line is the top line. They are +69 in Goal differential. Figure that shit out....insane. Just ok though. All Thomas and Rask carrying the team. ;) I mean Kelly, Peverley and Pouliot are playing like a top line on most teams in the league. They are the Bruins 3rd line. No forward on Boston ever plays 20 mins in a game. Total confidence in every player and line. It is like watching a well oiled total package from the management right down to the trainers.

Kelly - Peverly - Pouliot playing like a top line on most teams? Fuck off Kyle...

Um...Prove me wrong there stats guy! They are +50 as a line. How many other top lines in the league are +50? For someone who claims to know everything about all the numbers you are pretty close minded when it comes to the Bruins.

How does +50 make them a top line?

It doesn't make them a top line. They are averaging 16-18 mins a night, are + 50. In the long run what is better for the success of a team?

To have a top line that each player has say 60 points, but finish the season at say + 10 as a line or

To have a top line of players that get 45 points but finish the year at +50?

That may not be a reliable way to measure production due to the lack of special teams effects on +/- but you get what i am kind of hinting at. That "third line" can match up against any top line in the league and hold there own and even score. Alot of nights they are actually tasked with that for the defensive side of their play.

I'll take Lupul - Connolly - Kessel over Kelly - Peverly - Pouliot

Well obviously, so would I, but the point I am making is that this year, what is actually better for the success of a team using the example above? Too many other factors involved in making such a case like goal-tending and defense to really put much into it but it is a pretty cool to look at the numbers of each player on the Bruins as a whole. I keep hearing that they are lucky and have no "Star-Power" Is it better to have 3 90 point guys or 12, 50 point guys? The latter is proving correct. Any line can go against any other line in the league in any situation with full confidence from players and coaching staff.

It doesn't, Kyle is an idiot, and apparently thinks +/- is a strong indicator of individual performance...

You are incomprehensibly stupid, +/- is a team stat, do you honestly believe that if that same trio played for Toronto that they would be anywhere near a +50? If the answer is no, and it is no, than quite obviously your measure of success is flawed.

P.S. If this is a troll job, well fucking played.
