A few hot rumours hitting the press tonight. First off i'm hearing that the identical package sent to Toronto for the 7th overall pick is being sent to LA for the 5th overall pick.

For those of you who forget its this: Tim Connolly + Joe Colborne + 1st round pick 2011(FLA) + 3rd round pick 2012(BOS) + 5th round pick 2010(CGY) to LA Kings for the 5th overall pick in the 2010 entry draft.


Secondly i'm hearing that the NJD's are shopping Andy Greene. Greene emerged as a true leader on NJ's backend this year and any team that lands him is truely adding a top 4 goalie who brings it every shift.

But I confirm rumors that Greene has come up in talks. 37 pts, good shtoi, hits a bit, bs and has an insane cap hit of 738k for next season.. I wanna move him, he's my 7th Dman..

I had lots of talks with Steve, didn't work out. No worries. My guy will be there at 7 and if hes not my other guy will be. I am happy. My team will be cap compliant, i got some depth coming and i got a competitive team. Its all good in Beantown.
