your WJC entries
your WJC entries
WJC rosters are coming out, post your prospects that will be part of the annual youngsters showcase.
Nashville Predators
Centers (bbkl positions)
Mikael Granlund (FIN) *****
WIlliam Karlsson (SWE) ***
Johan Sundstrom (SWE) ***
Gregory Hofmann (SUI) **
Wingers
Evgeny Kuznetsov (RUS) *****
Emerson Etem (USA) ****
Johan Larsson (SWE) ****
Dmitrij Jaskin (CZE) ***
Defensemen
Jonas Brodin (SWE) ****
John Klingberg (SWE) ***
Mattias Backman (SWE) **
Nikita Nesterov (RUS) ? **
Goaltenders
Johan Gustafsson (SWE) ***
Can't wait for it.
Kuznetsov and Granlund are going to be the go to guys for their teams, Etem should be a key part for the US maybe on the PK as well, Johan Larsson should center Sweden top line with Sundstrom on his side, W.Karlsson may surprise if trusted in a scoring role.
Gustafsson is expected to be their starting G.
As the #1 defenseman Brodin shouldn't be limited to a defensive role like so far on his senior team. Interested to see Backman against his peers after a good first part of the season and, on the other hand, hoping to see Hofmann and Jaskin rebound after their slow start.
Don't know yet if Nesterov will be on the Russian team, probably won't be the case for Russo on the US.
Looking forward to see how other BBKL teams are going to be represented there!
