Feel like a broken record. We need you to put forward candidates and we welcome your input on their fit for ye league! Dunno what you think we're leaving you out of.

Because it seems the main discussion is held in another forum. Why not open it for every GM?

The main talks take place on MSN... need to get candidates, and talk with them about hockey, about fantasy hockey, then intense 16 category fantasy hockey, and finally about expected activity in on BBKL community. Then it's important that we get multiple GMs talking with the candidates and sharing their thoughts together.

Chris lots of people want to be on the CC, however there are other good GMs (key point) who've been here for longer (minor separating detail - been through the same mistakes a few times now), we've had a big CC before and nothing gets accomplished - it becomes a waiting game, lots of confusion about what was agreed to, or waiting for the 10th member to vote, or who can (or cannot) vote on a topic...we've been super open with what we're talking about and the goals with it, if you have more questions about what we're talking about please feel free to ask -> ASB centre qualifications, things to be careful about in new COL GM, BBKL activity issues for a few GMs, but from our 3 years of the BBKL we've been working towards things that work, currently - a small-ish group directed by the admins , who despite having different opinions are able to work through issues; 4 very different GM's that have an awesome response time,strong articulation of opinions and posts, some willingness to concede and compromise (super important) not a lot of ego or self-serving decisions going on (ability to put the league before your team in a decision).

Anyways, sorry for long-winded reply-> I'm more then happy to talk through ideas with you, more minds on any topic helps, but adding to the CC doesn't help, that road has been travelled, 13 people are about to say they'd be willing to/would like to/should/it's a crime if they're not allow to join the group.

Err... I don't care much for the CC to be honest; I don't really have a lot of time to play a role in shaping how the league operates. I'm here to have fun and ensuring that the quality of my enjoyment is connected to the people I socialize with in the BBKL -- which is pretty much everyone. In extension of that, I was asking about how I can best convey my own thoughts about prospective GMs; being able to do so allows me to ensure that I do have a role in who's selected, who isn't. I wasn't made aware that prospective GM discussion is primarily discussed on MSN though; I think that should be made more clear.

As far as being a part of the CC, I have no interest whatsoever.

I have unfortunately been busy canvassing the city of Guelph for Phil's campaign - just doing my good civic puck duties. Phil's gone missing these past few days(games) so I should be able to make a few more posts...
