Tootoo is a bit of a risk since he doesn't seem to play a full season...MacArthur is the better player but could be getting a nice raise in free agency. I can see where Steve does this to save some money...Tootoo is locked in for 2 years at a very manageable amount.

considering the season he had, i hope Mac won't get that much of a raise

ya this,
McArthur will probably make similiar scratch as tootoo (something around 1.2)
I made this deal because i need hits and pims, McArthur is a great player that i was high on, but his maginal offense wouldn't make much of a difference on my offensive team. I needed to add some grit - via the Tootoo deal.

btw, how is that Tootoo is listed at 0.975 on CBS instead of the 1.25 reported by capgeek?

He was signed to a new contract during the season, starting July 1st
meaning his new cap hit will be 1.25 mil as of July 1st 2010

The cap numbers on cbs were all added manually by scott or mike iirc

i don't think so, for the place holder players this is true, but not the players with full profiles. If any errors were present we were able to edit, however I am unaware if any such cases arose.

It's true, I manually put in every salary and will have to update all the salaries for next season too. Hopefully Matt and Mike help me out this time around =)

shiv its a pain to scroll through and wait to load on iphone's and crackberries... and IMO is distracting even on my laptop... a signature picture is a nice touch, big ones can be annoying... keep it reasonable and its not an issue...LOL

Lol, I like sigs, but that was serious? I thought it was a joke? When you are on a crackberry or Iphone and on this site 20 times a day it kills your data plan and slows loading and extends scrolling. Now I am with Shep on this as i do not load any sigs, just avatars. It is very simple to do and i suggest people on mobile devices do the same.
