LOL agreed. It's disgusting that this day is a holiday for the everyday person. Government only? I called in sick today, fuck that shit.. both of my Great Grandfathers fought in WWII, one died in it... this is easily the most important day to me, to our independence, to our freedom. I mean, Victoria Day? Fuck that douche.. I like the day off but really.. lol

Quite surprised it isnt a Holiday for the masses on Ontario. It is here in NB. Everything closed. As it should be.

It is here in BC... And iirc was in the Soo, although it might have been just school off.

What our soldiers went through to protect North America in both of the World Wars was incredible, it's such a shame that the new generation of children aren't being educated enough about this past.
