I think Nick (I'm going to start calling you a similar sounding name just because) made out very well here. He got the PHX system set up, a BBKL beast prospect in Tinordi, a BBKL monster if he can stay healthy in Army, and Lee for GP purposes who can still put it together. Nino's still a prospect himself. IMO, he didn't lose. Pretty fair deal for him. I did tell Matt that he could have gotten more for Army, but I think the reasoning is pretty sound for him considering Foligno's starting to come into his own.

No need to blow this up into something bigger than it is.

Regardless of who won this trade, i've lost what little respect I had left for facey. Your pathetic attempt to appear as a man amongst boys is rather embarrassing. I don't know if this is a recent change in your persona or if it was just simply my ignorance towards it in the past.

I'm well aware I lost this trade as it was not my intention to win it, but rather make sure Tunic gets somewhat balanced value for Nino, as he doesn't like him and wanted to make his team his own and ensure he reaches games played.

Haha... this is hilarious. So the two guys -- independent of this deal, and will remain nameless -- who told me NOT to make this deal because of the sheer volume of what I was giving up, are completely out to lunch because Nick, Shiv, and Billy say so.

The value is not great, however, over time value also changes. Nino + 1st for Tavares happened quite awhile ago. Safe to say it does not hold the same value NOW as it did when the trade happened, as Tavares is much more proven now.
