lol nah i didnt have the enough assets to land green. and billy no. i actually think its a decent trade. i think nyr wins but scotts team is essentially carrying 13 forwards and 5 dmen now. paying the price for green is worth it.

Good trade with both teams here, i amazed you got rid of a leaf scott, ah you can nab another one up

I can't wait to start the season! It's going to be New Jerseys epic defense against Washington's epic center core. With Shiv standing behind the glass watching.

The way I saw it was I probably needed to shed some salary when all my FAs resigned so this deal, I shed about 2 million all the while, imho, getting better. Green is elite, PPG Dman (pretty much) who has very underrated fantasy value. He hits, blocks a ton of shots, huge +/- and he makes my D head and shoulders better then anyone else's in this league. Imho, Bozak is real good but a little overrated.. sure, he did well in his short stint last season and there's no reason why that shouldn't continue.. YET.. but Dubinsky has pretty much no competition and in a full season his fantasy value should double..

This deal made sense for me more or less because of the salary.. it's tough to trade Perry but I see Green as a much better fantasy player and Dubinsky a lot safer then Bozak.. so it was really a no brainer for me. It could come back to bite me in the ass if Bozak continues to get better and better but Dubinsky is a MUCH safer option then Bozak at this point and time.. again, this is all my opinion!
