Yup...I don't think you get a guy to sign with your team for a dozen years and then trade him because you have cap issues. Hossa is there to stay...
Fairly balanced deal...Hossa is the best piece and if he gets back to scoring 40 goals next year if he plays the full season, I really like this for the Blues. Hossa has a crazy contract but that cap number is very good for what kind of a player he is.
