POST-WEEK 3 POWER RANKINGS

1. Tampa Bay Lightning (+2) – The TB train keeps rolling.
2. Toronto Maple Leafs (-1) - Slight road bump with Buffalo but this team will be back in championship form as soon as this week.
3. New Jersey Devils (-1) – Tough battle with NYI this week but ended up pulling out a win by the closest of margins.
4. Los Angeles Kings (-) - An expected dominant win.
5. Washington Capitals (+1) – How far will JoseTheodore carry this team?
6. Buffalo Sabres (+5) – Win against TOR proves that this team is for real and a legit contender.
7. Colorado Avalanche (-) – Will the resigning of Bry Shook affect the recent dominance of the Avs?
8. Ottawa Senators (-3) – Close battle with MTL. This team is still a contender in the East and the league.
9. Montreal Canadiens (+4) – Huge divisional win over OTT. This team is a contender.
10. Chicago Black Hawks (-1) –Big divisional win for Chicago. This team has the potential to move up these power rankings big time.
11. Columbus Blue Jackets (-3) The COL-STL-CHI is finally over. Schedule eases up just as Sid is nearing his return.
12. St Louis Blues (-2) – This will probably be the lowest the Blue will ever be in the power rankings. Played the Bruins tough.
13. Boston Bruins (-1) – Same as above.
14. New York Islanders (+2) – NYI showed that it could compete with the big boys with a very respectable showing against one of the best teams in the league.
15. San Jose Sharks (-1) – The Sharks are looking to put themselves in the upper echelon with a couple of moves this week.
16. Minnesota Wild (-1) – A couple more moves and this team will be a legit threat. Too bad this team doesn't trade.
17. New York Rangers (+2) –Big divisional win over an up and coming flyers team.
18. Anaheim Ducks (-) – An expected win but this team is probably better than most think.
19. Philadelphia Flyers (-2) – Might sneak into the playoffs if everything goes right.
20. Edmonton Oilers (-) – Needs to make some moves if playoffs are their goal.
21. Phoenix Coyotes (-) – Dreading the NJD match this week.
22. Pittsburgh Penguins (+1) – Shiv sucks at tanking.
23. Nashville Predators (+3) – Team is on the rise after a slow start to the season.
24. Detroit Red Wings (-2) – A slight damper to an impressive and surprising start to the season.
25. Vancouver Canucks (-1) – Chris is only slightly better than Shiv at tanking.
26. Carolina Hurricanes (-1) – Is Miller still on the block?
27. Calgary Flames (-) – Turmoil in Calgary. Things aren’t looking good.
