My Kessel deal was similar, it actually began as talks for Boyd Gordon, the guy is a h2h monster this yr.

Gets a bunch of faceoffs, racks up a few blocked shots, but it it feels like Kareem took Steve to the shed with this trade. Maybe I'm wrong. Don't think Richards' all that good to be honest with you all. Torts is pissed off at Brad, Stefan, and Gaborik, so he shook things up by putting Anisimov in there and demoting Stefan. It didn't last the entire game, but Anisimov will get his opportunity sooner rather than later, and Richards will go to the wing so they have some size down the middle on the top-six.

and Richards wont be moved to the wing, they didn't pay him a billion bucks to be not all that good LOL, i think this is one spot where Dallas Dave and I have to disagree.

In this deal i lose 2 players from my starting rotation = Weiss and The Buff, i add Richards, Kaberle, Gordon - and Gordon is exactly what I need!
