Vancouver Block

Luke Adam on the block.

I would like to upgrade my wing by combining Talbot and Jackman (or another combination) to someone who does a little bit of everything across the board. The following are available:

Forwards:
1) Nick Foligno - Two-way upside. Getting more PK time this year. On pace for roughly 100 SHTOI, 175 hits. Currently not scoring much, but that should change soon as he could be capable of 40-50 pts.
2) Mattias Ritola & Dana Tyrell - Both will go as part of a package deal. Ritola's offense exists (see his AHL stats), and Tyrell won't be in the AHL for very long (78 games last year with TBL).
3) Maxime Talbot - Versatile 4th line winger who takes the brunt of the Flyers' SHTOI and defensive zone faceoffs. Struggling a bit with his new team, but as everyone knows, Talbot's a beast on the PK, and will put up 20-30 points a year.

Defensemen:
1) Keith Ballard - As the Canucks begin to alter their line-up a bit, Ballard's been getting more ice-time than he did last year. He's healthy, as evinced by his hipchecks of a few players, and will likely be pushed into a top-four role soon.
2) Barret Jackman - Capable of huge defensive #s. Just put up 7 blocked shots and 6 SHTOI in a previous game. He'll get a hit a game, and put up 160+ blocked shots. Capable of soaking up huge SHTOI minutes as his ES time will go to more offensive oriented players.
3) Jonathan Ericsson - 160 hits, 100-120 blocked shots, and 160+ SHTOI. Offensively, he's a work in progress, but the Wings seems to think he'll break out for 30-40 sooner rather than later.
4) Fedor Tyutin - Similar to the guys above, but gets PP time, SHTOI time, and annually puts up 100-150 hits/blocked shots a year. Gets 220+ SHTOI or more. STPTS are available as well.

Goaltenders:
Alexander Salak - Will eventually be the starter in Chicago. Rough around the edges, but the second an injury arises, don't be surprised if he takes over for an extended stretch of time.

Bold: Hard to get
Underline: As good as the hard to get, but more readily available
Italics: Available for just about anything

Contracts:
Cody Eakin - Will be called up at some point. Two-way dynamo; huge upside.
Quinton Howden
Andreas Engqvist - Will be called up as a fourth-line centre. Some very good defensive upside here
Paul Byron - Will be called up by Calgary if they continue to struggle offensively. High upside prospect
JT Miller
Bradley Ross
Eric O'Dell
Tom Kuehnhackl
Gabriel Bourque - Opinions vary on whether he'll be called up this year. Was one of the final cuts at Predators camp
Jerry D'Amigo
Joe Morrow
Marc-Andre Bourdon
Cody Goloubef - Will rotate in and out with John Moore in Columbus. Very good offensive upside.
Jesse Blacker
Martin Marincin
Mark Barberio - Will be called up when TBL gets tired of MAB shitting the bed. Massive offensive upside.
Jeremy Smith
Chad Johnson
Mark Visentin
Allen York
Alexander Salak

Lots of interest in Hornqvist. A couple of nibbles on Ritola & Tyrell, as well as Jackman. Would like to do a package deal where I upgrade two guys to one player. Would be willing to add prospects to complete the deal.

An inquiring GM asked about Bailey. Talking to him right now. Not saying a trade's imminent but he's got some pieces I'm interested in.

If you got an interest in Mr. Joshua Bailey, get at me.

30 more minutes before roster lock. If anyone has an offer, get them in now so I can take a good look at it.

Putting Luke Adam on the block.

Almost had a trade done yesterday, but decided against it. But the offer got me wondering what the interest level is after two people inquired about him today.

Feel free to PM/MSN me.
