Week 2 Battles

There really aren't too many. Most are beat downs with the exception of LAK/ANA surprisingly enough, TBL/WSH are in a nice battle, and DET/FLA. The rest look like walks in the park. Lee, that's pretty embarassing that your team is losing 10-4 to a supposed bottom 10 team. Also, Tony's team is so underrated it's sick. If he gets goaltending and a competitive offense going, he could really beat anyone. Chicago's back on track after a small scare last week against the Wings and poor Kyle.. Billy's handling you

LOL I had NO IDEA I was beating Lee till now. I barely check the scoring now that I'm trying to tank. For fucks sake, Lee. Please kick my ass.

Just saying my roster has about 4 non-NHLers + guys injured lol. PLEASE find a way to kick my ass. Winning this week would just be dumb.

I haven't checked the stats, but expect Howard's game today to be a major determinant for my matchup vs Kareem.

You have some amazing firepowers, but you lack H2H/Periph imo (or BUF is just that good)... I have a bunch if you want to be aggressive and move a scorer.
SJ vs NYI is surprising as well. It looks like NYI is no longer a bottom 5 team. His team is just so deep in the periphs end. I'm scared

When I moved Tony's 1st, it was because I had an inkling he would dominate the fuck out of the peripheral categories.

He will keep most matches very close. The question is whether or not he can win a few blowouts imo.

Even if he doesn't win the "blow outs", he's still keep himself around the .500 mark (at worst).

The question is whether or not .500 will make the playoffs.
I don't think it does in the East. That's why a blowout every now and then would help.
Will be interesting to look at the standings a month or two from now.

The only blowouts I may achieve are against bottom 5-ish teams ... my goal is to piss off other teams down the stretch and maybe keep them from getting into the playoffs (Mr. Ranger!)

I'll tell you one thing. Steckel got under my skin during our first meeting
. Wasn't a fan of watching him win something like 28 faceoffs in the first two games and averaging about 5.50 shtoi
.

All through the pre-season I ranked NYI and BUF as extremely underrated teams and a lot of people weren''t happy about it. Don't be surprised if both sneak into the playoffs boys.
