Somone on twitter mentioned that Turris and Aucoin have been discussed. Leafs would eat one year of his contract. IMO, Coyotes need Aucoin's veteran stability after Jovocop left.

heard the turris for bozak rumour for awhile.. as a turris owner i don't know how i should feel.. if connolly gets injuried (like it happens so often) turris might get more chances on top 6.. actually turris just needs to play more than 5 minutes a game to break out.. lol

Turris hype is and has always been more then a little high. If he could do anything with more minutes Hong he'd be getting them. Not like they are currently scoring up a storm.


I've heard all sorts of rumours about Bozak and gunner being packaged, some of the names being thrown around are more then kinda crazy really- two players that just had sophomore slumps, both look good. Not a bad situation to be dealing from.

Stepan just kinda adds to our small forward issue though... Spezza sure would be nice to see in the blue and white.

Spezza is overrated. There's not a single player in the NHL I hate more than Spezza. He's lazy, prone to awful turnovers, and his pace for the game nullifies the effectiveness of his speedier linemates who need someone to hit them with a tape to tape pass on the fly.

Over the years, he's improved the structure of his game, but he's such a flawed player. If he was a step quicker, he'd be a machine.

Sure I own bozak, but that isn't the point. The kid has looked great and I think will surprise a lot of people this year. Gunnar as well.

Spezza would instantly be our most dynamic forward.

However, his injuries are of a concern. I think he needs a change of scenery though. Give him some talent to play with again.
