Actually, since you didn't bother splitting the main subject, it should be "Excluding my top prospects, everyone is available." Saying "Everyone other than my top prospects is available" would be a dangling modifier because you've failed to indicate who the subject(s) is/are.

Chris, no matter how you look at that sentence, "Everyone" is obviously the subject. As far as adding commas is concerned, I don't do that on fantasy hockey boards like I have in this post.
