No he hasn't been offered a official contract yet. I am not 100% positive as I never spoke to him myself, but my Brother in law told me a bit ago that Phoenix and a couple of other teams contacted him/agent and wondered if he would like a tryout. Last I heard he declined all tryouts, and is just waiting for a guaranteed contract. He is training hard tho, and does not want to retire.

Not very well, but way back in the day we worked together at a Golf course for a few summers, I don't keep in contact with him or anything, but he does come back to the Soo quite often. My Brother in law however has been very good friends with him since they were little kids and I golf with him quite a bit. Usually once or twice a year, Turco will join us for 18. Other than that if I see him we will say a quick hi type of thing.
