No Shiv, you love "stats" even though the stats show that Stoll is the superior BBKL player. So uhhh... please clarify why Cogliano > Stoll. I'd love to hear it.

To be fair to Shiv, Cogliano is taking on an increasing role in ANA (with already nice peripheries), whereas Stoll may be taking on a lesser role in LA. Not to mention that Cizikas is going to be an absolute periph machine in a couple of years. Solid trade for both teams, all things considered (IMO).

Cogliano is a bum had that one good season then not to much after that... maybe going to ana will help him out but i dont see it

he actually had two good seasons. I also believe he played well last year and made the most of his chances, unfortunately he didn't get many chances. I could see him putting up 45 points this season all the while putting up great h2h stats. IMO cogs only had one bad season and imo that was a chemestry thing with Quinn which led to him losing his confidence.

i just dont like him bryan .... great skater... maybe i always wanted more out of him thats why i see him as a disapointment hopefully he will turn it around hes still young too

People are bad mouthing Cogliano like crazy in here. I agree Chris got the better player but there's clearly a bias against Cogliano.

2010 Stats:

Stoll > Cogliano by 8 Points = Approximately 0.35 per week.
Stoll > Cogliano by 80 Hits = Appriximately 4 per week.
Stoll > Cogliano by 300 FOW = Approximately 15 per week.
Stoll > Cogliano by 50 SOG = Approximately 2.5 per week.

Cogliano > Stoll by 110 SHTOI = Approximately 5 per week.

Now let's add in the factor that Cogliano to ANA where he is signed for 3 years. He will immediately be playing in a better situation. Better offensive and better defensive minutes. This is EVEN if he slots on Line 3 but IMO he is an easy Line 2 C in ANA.

A 2011 Projection of 40 points, 80 Hits, 200 SHTOI, 600 FOW and 150 SOG is not out of the question.

Again Chris definitely got the better player but people make it sound like Cogliano is dog shit.
