Fantasy Football help

I need some help from you experts. This is really only my 2nd year in fantasy football so i need some guidance. I keep 3 players. for every player you keep you give up 3 rounds higher than they were drafted and you cant keep anything higher than a 3rd round pick. So if i keep Malcom Floyd who was a 8th rd pick, i would lose a 5th round pick in the draft. I picked up Clay MAthews of FA and am keeping him, even though he is a defender because he is a damn stud. I am also keeping Stevie Johnson becasue he was FA pick up and i only lose my last pick. I need one more keeper or if not worth it i will only keep 2. Whatta ya think? I cant post all the stat categories but there is some value for defenders. RB is the big guys like most leagues. Is the PIT def. gonna be as good this year?

i'm curious as to how many points you earn for each defensive stat in your league. in the league i'm in with the individual defensive players, matthews didn't score very high last year and is no stud.

I'm sure Bryan would be able to help, those are an interesting set of rules for fantasy football. I'll be starting my league shortly too and will likely be needing help.

I'm in a football pool this year too.. not players but weekly winners and a 3 strike pool. Should be good. Nice prize pool too. There's about 400 people in the pool at $110 per person.

Taking it home!

Jesus.

Might have been better to do what you did with your team, just showing their last year points.

So much

my league's defensive stats are a little different. when you get into your league, look at last year's defensive player point rankings. if you're going to keep one defensive player you should pick the higher scorer out of ray lewis and clay matthews.

Out of your draft players, Rivers is the only guy worth keeping. It really depends on what QBs are going to be available.

Do you get to pick before everybody else if you keep less?

as of right now i'd take lewis, tulloch/griffin, and johnson. No sense in losing draft picks over mediocre options.

griffin eh? Never really thought about him. After the keeprs, any ideas on who is going to be the stud RB this year. I need to make my first to third rounders count.

ok now definitely lewis, tulloch (if you can start more than 1 LB), stevie johnson.

as for stud rb? i'd have to say your best bet is peterson. there are some very good rb's though.

some guys who could be better than their rankings..

ray rice - ranked high but an absolute monster.. his problem in fantasy has been touchdowns but with mcgahee gone in favour of ricky williams, rice should see at least a little more redzone/goal line carries

rashard mendenhall - young and has gotten 1100 and 1200 rushing yards the last 2 years, no reason why he shouldn't match that if not exceed it this year

shonn greene - he's young and the featured back now; LT won't be getting as many carries

lagarette blount - has always been a violent runner since his college days. he had 1000 yards rushed in his rookie season with the bucks last year, can possibly exceed that with improvement and the possibility of freeman struggling

felix jones - he's the featured back this year in dallas and has always caught a ton of passes, very likely he can get 900-1000 yards rushing and 500 through the air
