I don't even think this is close. Massive rape for Anton imo. Oshie has yet to prove anything and is 25. I love oshie alot but how over rated he is boggles my mind.

oshie is like a backes-lite and stoll is very solid all round.

it's a pretty classic depth for a better player move imo

I think after Backes got moved from Wing to Center, I think he's become one of the most overrated players in the league.

pretty hard to be overrated with 62 pts, 213 hits, 143 shtoi, and 90+ pims on top of 500+ FOW

Jarret Stoll brinsg 150+ hits, 150 SHTOI and 700 + FOW too though.

IMO you paid Oshie for approximately 20 points and 50 hits. Oshie easily makes up those numbers with room to spare.

getting all that in 1 player and opening a roster spot for another is the part you're ignoring.

exaggerating some of stoll's numbers isnt needed either. i know he's solid in periphs.

I'd personally rather Stoll + Oshie. But fair enough.

Imo if you don't think staals h2h stats decrease next season you are dumb. He's been kicked down that pecking order super quick.

Staal? You mean Stoll? And I disagree.. sure, they acquired Gagner and Richards but they also didn't re-sign Handzus and Schenn's not coming up to take away minutes from him. IMHO, the Richards deal, bundled with Handzus not being re-upped, did nothing but help Stoll. Call me dumb I guess..

Gotta agree with Scott. Stoll's point production won't go down. Nor will his role as a checking center on that team. Richie will take SHTOI too but it'll be Stoll on PK unit 1 IMO.
