Call me insensitive, call me a dick, call me whatever, but I will never understand the love and affection people show towards animals.

Nah, my mom and sister are the same way, and I criticize them for it daily.

it's not animals as much as it is specifically dogs. the loyalty and unconditional love a dog can give are qualities not found in 99% of human relationships.

Wow Ebenezer much

Seriously though I don't get how anyone can't love dogs. most loyal companions and amazing to have around. Did you know Kareem they have done studies that show people that have pets actually live longer? Open up that heart of yours and hug a puppy.

Seriously feel soo bad for that guy though.

I like dogs, don't love em. Hate most other animals though, primarily because they frighten the shit out of me.

Wow, i honestly do not know how people just can't love all animals. I wont even watch that video. I would shed more tears for an innocent animal than i would watching the Detroit evening news. I'm not a tree hugger either, i just love and respect most other forms of life especially dogs and cats.

The funny thing I was sadden by the video. I actually was happen, it look like it was a new beginning for the dog and the master. I also felt lik I wanted a dog after it was done.
By the way I rarely cry so that video didn't touch me one bit.

Well i am glad some of you feel the same way. BTW Kyle, I fucking love Mathews! I got him as a keeper in my football league and he was plucked from FA. So pumped to have him. Has to be one of, if not the, best fantasy football defender, depending on scoring i guess.

I had a Dalmatian, and now a Golden Doodle. I love both of them immensely. Near the end, I'd wake up in the middle of the night to hear my Dalmatian thrashing about on the floor next to my bed. For the longest time, the veterinarian told us that the seizures weren't serious, and we should monitor her condition (she was about 8 when she started having them). But it was hard to take - it was often that I'd just get out of bed just to comfort her and sooth her until she fell back to sleep.

It was a rough day when I found out she had cancer. I don't know how I'd handle it if my Golden Doodle underwent the same suffering my Dalmatian did. It was very difficult to accept that I wanted (needed) another dog. Not sure if I can go through that again.

Dude, thats rough. I appreciate the feelings though that come with owning pets. My boss has a golden doodle and they are amazing dogs. Love them.
