Confirmed
I blow up this year and next year's draft but if I don't look like I'm going to cut it this year, I'll be a seller and I'll try to get picks back later.

Prospects and pick don't help me this year and I get my offensive defenseman that I need without giving up a roster player.

It's your own fault for not gauging all options first...

I was tired ...
Oh well. If I don't get my way I'll just pull an OJ - adopt a kid to have an excuse to quit.

Shoalize, keep Campbell...he's a great fantasy player and your return on him won't be this much.
He'll do a lot for you.

I asked you about Campbell and Rafalski a few weeks ago...I had interest in either guy. I've gone to several teams about their big money players and checking availability. Campbell is overpaid but he'll get me what I want and that's offensive numbers from the blue line.
From where I stood in the drafts...I wasn't going to get a high impact prospect. I've still got some late picks and maybe I get lucky.
My next move can't really happen until after the draft and when free agency begins so I know what I can do once the free agents on my team are signed. Between getting Huet and Campbell, I'm going to be tight up with the cap so maybe I'll have to move a guy to make room.

That's kinda how I look at it. He's going to be a guy I keep as you mentioned...I won't be able to get all those picks back that I gave up.
I've got a guy who's 31...not too old but definitely not young. I don't have any defenseman capable of getting 50-60 points. Blake is quite possibly going to play his last game on Sunday...he could do that in his earlier years. Campbell isn't all that physical and he's only gone over 10 goals once in his career. He's not Mike Green by any means but he'll hopefully get the job done.
