people give him credit for making good deals when quite frankly (pun intended), he doesn't even know the players he's trading for.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONIt's an honest mistake, I don't get why this is an issue...
Great hockey mind? Meh. Decent. When he's right he won't shut up about it for years. When he's wrong it was never said.facey wroteCOLONIt's easy to hate on Don for the stupid stuff, however he's a great hockey mind, it offends me to see him compared/ relate to frank
i know for a fact if I was in an all-french BBKL, i'd have to head over to translate.google.com every time lol. in french i dont think the "e"s ever make "y" sounds. lets give him a break lol.anton wroteCOLONpeople give him credit for making good deals when quite frankly (pun intended), he doesn't even know the players he's trading for.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONIt's an honest mistake, I don't get why this is an issue...
he just traded for blacker and 10 mins later made this block.
this is not a mistake, he honestly believes he traded for a player named jessy becker.
His poor grammar has much more to do with lack of effort. When I type in French I am extra careful with both syntax and spelling.SuperMario wroteCOLONi know for a fact if I was in an all-french BBKL, i'd have to head over to translate.google.com every time lol. in french i dont think the "e"s ever make "y" sounds. lets give him a break lol.anton wroteCOLONpeople give him credit for making good deals when quite frankly (pun intended), he doesn't even know the players he's trading for.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONIt's an honest mistake, I don't get why this is an issue...

First of all do you understand that Phonetically Jesse translates to being spelled as Jessy? I speak French better than I write it, and phonetically I think something is supposed to be spelt one way when its the opposite all the time. But that's not even the issueMike wroteCOLONHis poor grammar has much more to do with lack of effort. Do you capitalize proper nouns in French? Yes. Are names such as Jesse Blacker spelled differently in La Presse and The Globe? No. Is syntactical consistency solely valued in English? No.
You have no idea how well he does or does not know English. We have no idea whether how he writes currently takes a lot of brain power in itself. And is this not supposed to be a fun league? You want the guy to pull out a dictionary every time he makes a forum post? His poor grammar has much more to do with lack of effort. Erm, so this gives us license to misspell players whose names are not innately obvious? No. That is highly disrespectful. Your last name, if memory serves, is Narayanan. This is not something I would spell properly without first thinking on it. I would hope you would return this courtesy by naming me Morris, not Norris, or Morse.SuperMario wroteCOLONFirst of all do you understand that Phonetically Jesse translates to being spelled as Jessy? His English is conversationally superior to my French. My written French is superior to his written English because I put in the effort.SuperMario wroteCOLONYou have no idea how well he does or does not know English.
Fun league? Absolutely. That involves (to me at least) being able to understand what other GMs are saying. Maybe he doesn't, as you suggested, possess the requisite brain power to type in a cohesive fashion - and maybe that should be a requirement in place for all new GMs: the ability to communicate properly.SuperMario wroteCOLONWe have no idea whether how he writes currently takes a lot of brain power in itself. Sure. Call me what you like.SuperMario wroteCOLONI bet if you read your last post on another day, you would think of it to be pretentious and anal.
I refuse to be tolerant of idiocy. We are adults, we should communicate as such.SuperMario wroteCOLONLet's be a little tolerant.
