Kareem had a super rough schedule, I had the pleasure of some silly injuries that started before training camp and just kept on coming, Neel & Cliff had bad injuries down the stretch & into the playoffs...LAK upset by Shep? Just wanna make sure I'm aware of what the 'luck' was.

I should be a shoe in for this award, had by far the toughest schedule in this league, and the worst luck of all contenders according to Mike's thread (ignoring injuries).

Lots of injuries is bad luck, lack of injuries is good luck... Not deny-ing that schedule is a component of it as well. But did any other contender lose their starter for half the year ? (including playoffs) and have some pretty silly player injuries?

Yeah, you had shit luck no doubt. I just think mine was worst, and it's not like I had a great bill of health either. I did in the first half, not so much in the second half...

That doesn't even make sense...That is one injury, and he still carried a shit load of trade value. Nicks injuries in the first month alone trump the loss of Crosby.

You were lucky by simple virtue of being in the West. Claiming to have the hardest schedule in the West, is like bragging about being in a heated scrap with a girl.

I also didn't think my win vs. you was very lucky.

I said from the start, I would win all periphs, you would win all points, and the matchup would come strictly down to goaltending. It did as Bryzgalov had a great week.

I played the strongest teams from the East and West

this isn't baseball, we do play each other , we dont have an inner-league...LOl

that said, i'm not complaining, I don't deserve this award. My team was top 6 or 7, but it wasn't shitty luck because i lost.
