Seriously though, I admire what Chris has done and I'll follow his lead...I can't accept this. You have the luxury to give such things away but you could because you earned everything. Thank you Scott for the thought but I will decline. I don't have the pieces to make a deal to re-acquire that pick so I can't even send you a legitimate offer for the pick. If I'm going to work my way out of the cellar, I'll make my own deals.

OK dude.. I tried.

I woke up with 8 PMs.. 2 were applications for Corey Perry (not serious ones) and 6 GMs unhappy that I gave some stuff away. I'm not quitting and my post about needing to challenge myself was obviously a joke that you guys didn't get I guess. So I guess if more people want me to just take my stuff back, tell me and I will.. I thought I was doing a good thing by helping the bottom dwellers out with something. Anyway, let me know I guess..

i just got worried about giving all your good players away...if anyone should be accepting these picks and prospects its shoalzie...

In a 30 team league, there are going to be bad teams....29 of us are going to go away each season looking up at the champ. The challenge for myself is to put the pieces back together on my own. I can understand from your perspective that you win two years in a row, what can you do next? However, it's a dynasty league and if you build a winner, you get to reap the rewards for as long as you can maintain it.

Your charity is admirable and appreciated but make us earn it. Chris making that trade is the way it should go. For the integrity of the league, you shouldn't just hand out valuable assets. It should be on us to improve our teams.

Take the pick shoalzie...i'm not against helping u either. I think your a good GM and a solid guy....you were handed a shitty team...sometimes u have to take the charity....i mean before you, i'm sure Scott and I raped a few deals from the guy.

The team wasn't bad when I got it. The Ryan-Wolski and Hossa-Kovalev moves were stupid but I had a good team on paper. I made the mistake to sell low on my players because the Wings were having a down year in '09-10 and I traded Toews before he really blossomed. If I had that roster now, I'd be a top 10 team for sure.

Nope, he never offered, and I never asked for or accepted any picks. At the completion of my last trade with him, he said don't forget to put you application in for Corey Perry, which I responded to as basically I want to build my team on my own...

I have made many trades with Scott, some of my earlier trades he did pretty good, but for the most part are deals are pretty solid..The last 2 trades have probably swung in my favor, but I certainly did not get anything for free...I would have to say that of all of Scott's and my trades things are pretty balanced..
