Seriously though, between this and the Kovalev deal...I've reduced the number of assets I have so I'm add the limit of 60 (players + picks). In the process, I got back in the 1st round of the waiver draft and added a 50 point guy (albeit, he'll be coming off knee surgery and is making $5 million). At this point, I might tweak prior to the drafts but I want to stay at the roster limit.

Shoalzie I cant find any records of you obtaining Dallas 5th Rounder in 2010, can you show me the transaction whereby you acquired the pick?

To be fair, you don't have every trade ever made in that trade thread. I've tried to retrace my steps and the previous GMs steps and there are a few deals missing that involved Detroit. I'll see what I can find...it might be just that it was a different 5th, not Dallas.

I make a lot of deals...it would help me to retrace my steps although I put faith in the league's ability to record all these moves. I'll sift through my transactions and if I see a trade I'm missing, I'll bring it up.

its easier for the league and those putting work in to keep things organized if each GM had organized trade-history treads... its also a nice argument for being a good GM
-plan
-active
-understands value
-trades with a variety of GM's
myself it showed me there are a few GM's I need to be more careful with when trading, and a few GM's who I seem to consistently do well IMO when dealing with (thx kareem).

I realize the value in keeping a transaction history but it wasn't stressed as much as it was to post your roster. I will make an effort to keep track of my trades so we don't have a problem with this again. When I first started, I tried to retrace the steps of the last guy to understand how the team I inherited was put together. Considering we moved to the new forums, there may have been some trades prior to the switch they were lost.
Going forward, I'd like to offer my services as some to record and keep track of trades. I wouldn't mind helping this league stay organized and on top of things.

Somwhere along the line, Detroit and Los Angeles must have made a deal involving Dallas 5th Rounder, I need confirmation of that deal ASAP so i can update the rest of the draft board. If not this deal needs to be re-worked.

Fuck you...Are you aware of how hard it is to retrace every single trade in this league? Especially when half of you assholes trade assets you never even owned, and I have to find trades that were erased by Billy. Seriously do you have any idea how fucking hard and time consuming that is...Half the time I'm looking for things that don't exist. If you think you can do better, and based on your team page alone, I highly doubt it, then by all means. Have at it...
Secondly it's not the league keeping track of these trades...It's Kareem keeping track of these trades. Big fucking difference.

Ya Kareem, if it wasn't for you I would've quit this league a while ago.. no kidding.. you've allowed me to relax a bit with this league but I'll take my turn again, you know I will lol

Kareem--I come in peace, I wasn't criticizing you or anyone else. When I say "the league" it's because no one really defines their role. I don't know who to give credit to. I didn't know who kept track of these deals before you but it's too bad that it's left you with so much work. That's probably something should really been priority from the start and that way you didn't have to drive yourself nuts with retracing every trade.
Considering how trade-crazy this league is, I bet it's a bitch to keep track of everything. That's why I'm offering to help out and take some of the load off you. If it's just something like recording all trades or helping with tracing everyone's steps...tell me what you want help with and I would be happy to make this easier for. What you're doing is a very thankless task and I don't know where and when you volunteered to do it but it is a lot to take on. I'll start working on my team and after that, I'm open to helping with anything else.
