I'm extremely confident in betting against the Bruins in the first round, no matter who they play.

I am not confident in any combination of words where Bruins and Playoffs are in the same sentence! But hey, when your team has been dry of the playoffs for as long as the Leafs have, you gotta dog on the possible failures of a division foe, right and keep on saying Next year, the Leafs will be better...Its way too easy with the Leafs, seriously.

But seriously, I dont know whats worse: Cheering for a team that always lets you down in regular season only to just miss the playoffs or being so obsessed with a team that is supposed to go far in the playoffs only to bow out early, yet again. From a fans perspective, i see no difference in continually losing in the 2nd round of PO's compared to finishing 9th. Both just plain suck. I aint happy unless Stanley makes his ride down Causeway...until then i too will never bet for or against the Bruins. Been let down too many times.

Yeah, well you know what. This year, we were WAY better.

You cannot tell me you honestly thought Leafs would be anywhere near the Playoffs. 4 games left, and we're not mathimatically eliminated yet.

That is all.

This year, we were right. We WERE better. Next year, unless we run with the same lineup (though since the All-Star break we're on a 100+point pace.. that's a fact), we will bea better team. A more offensive forward than Bozak on Line 1 and moving Bozak down to the 3rd line, barring a complete meltdown from Reimer, we are making the playoffs.

I actually did think the Leafs would make that 8th seed and if i had the savvy and or patience to search for our early season predictions thread i would prove it. Mid season i had my doubts about my prediction though, not gonna lie.

It was one of the highlights of 2010 for me.

There wasn't many highlights for Bruins fans except, getting Seguin with a pick that was never supposed to be that high. 2010 is history now. Bruins achilles this year will be Clode and his crazy decisions.
