I dunno about useless but not huge h2hers no doubt.

That build style really doesn't work.

Although, I believe there are ways to build your team where the sedin's would be your MVP's

IMO as the league begins to level out in terms of power, you'll have to stat specialize, identify a few categories to be elite at, a few competitive, goalies, and then a few where you don't waste your time. Sample targets for the Sedins:

that gives you 5 wins assuming you build on what they bring

GWG,FOW & SOG are build-able as well, now up to 8 @ least a tie and perhaps looking at a win.
Can be a big win with goalie stats

The issue with the Sedins is the complete LACK of BS/hits/shtoi, dressing 2 grinders to cover that wastes the difference the Sedins have in other categories.

Couldn't have said it any better Nick, my team suffered the same fate over the course of the season. When I realized it mid season I tried to change up my core, but by then it was already too late.

the sedins are two 100+ point players for 6.1m. you guys can undersell peripheries all you want. but going forward esp for next season with stamkos getting a new contract, such a bargain does not exist. and like Nick said, if you build a team on offensive categories + fow, they are stellar pieces.

If your going for balance they don't work... they eat up a combined 12.2M in cap (like 20%) and offer nothing in 7 categories, and not really a lot of goals for the $. They have huge impact potential if planned accordingly... but for most teams they won't work.... you've built a very effective team around them, although I think you had a better group of players at different points throughout the year, no doubt you'll assemble an elite group multiple times during the summer as well. It'll be interested for me too see if someone steps up and makes a deal with you for the sisters, and if so what you eventually sell them for.
