Steven Stamkos

He will be moved this summer, not a matter of if, just when. If you aren't willing to discuss your best players in a trade please don't waste my time asking.
As for specifics, I'm looking for elite young talent in return. Whether that be in the form of proven NHL talent or prospects, or both isn't of great concern. The quality is.

I like the foundation of that offer Shep, if you can somehow swap Tarasenko or Burmi into something bigger we could have the framework for a legit deal in place.
Keep in touch.

Nothing really.. just people were posting what they'd possibly put up and I just posted "Not Toews" for fun. Frankly, I'm not really interested in Stamkos and his 8-9 million dollar cap hit next season.

I see him making 7.5, but that's pure speculation. Regardless, Stamkos (even at 9 - which wont happen) is a clear win over Toews and his 6.6.

6.3.. and I disagree. Stamkos @ 8-9 and Toews @ 6.3 is a wash imo

I don't know where 9 is coming from, for starters TB can't afford that with Vinny and Gagner, secondly no one but OV makes that kind of money, not even Sid, 7.5 is a far more likely scenario. And again, he's an easy choice over a center who has never put up ppg numbers.

Toews is PPG this season and I'll all but guarantee there will be plenty of more seasons just like this one. No doubt Stamkos is he better offensive weapon.. but that's really all he's better at. As for 9 million.. I think that's the top top end he'd get.. but probably more likely to get Eric Staal type money (7.75-8.25). And he deserves it.. he's clearly Tbay's best player.

Saying all Stamkos does is offense, is like saying all Callahan does is periphs...
Goals, Assists, STPTS, PTS, SOG are all stats Stamkos dominate, he also puts up nice hit totals that have only improved as the season has wore on. You can expect progression in FOW and SHTOI as he matures as a player too, superior player to Toews. Not even close really, especially considering age.

To each his own I guess..
