They just posted the top 10 NCAA free agents

I was just curious since being in Texas we don't get many NCAA games on tv besides the random one on NHL network. Aside from NHL prospects my major info on college players comes from blogs and stat trends. Has anyone on the board had a good opportunity to see any of these guys in action, and saw something that made them really stand out beyond what paper can say ?

Don't love those scouting reports, makes all those players sound like future studs with little to no weaknesses, when in reality most will not even make the NHL, and the chances of any of them becoming impact players are slim to none.

This is completely accurate. Although I won't lie, I've had my eye on a couple of those guys lol.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONDon't love those scouting reports, makes all those players sound like future studs with little to no weaknesses, when in reality most will not even make the NHL, and the chances of any of them becoming impact players are slim to none.

i always kind of feel for guys like chay genoway. top notch skating and puck skills but size will always haunt him. if he was even average size he would be a surefire nhler.

Matt Read & Rick Schofield are the most interesting to me.
None of this years group will appear 'skilled' at the NHL level though.
