2 Nick Johnsons on CBS...

Luke and I both own nick johnson of the pens according to CBS. he just got called up and the little sticky note only shows next to the guy on Luke's page so I can only assume that he is the "real" nick johnson. but I've owned him for as long as I can recall.

The Nick Johnson you own shows his cap hit from last season, while Lukes shows his cap hit from this season.
The pens site also lists Nick Johnson at the height and weight of the player Luke has on his roster.
The one you own lines up with his wikipedia, and AHL.com heights/weights but has last years capgeek salary hit. The one you own also displays his games as part of the stats he played earlier this year.
I also can't find any record of there being 2 in the NHL/AHL. So.. cut him in half?

There is the issue. Frank during the waiver draft drafted nick johnson of the NCAA.

Luke has owned the Nick Johnson of WBS and the pittsburgh penguins as long as I can track back, though hes had 3 johnsons on his team at one point (released one, another one is a goalie).

And you are being dishonest. Your post picking Johnson included clear evidence that the NCAA Johnson (not PIT) was in fact the one you wanted. In your post you gloated that he was still available as he had 27 goals in 28 games (38 games in actuality).

I actually taugh the one Pittsburgh sign was the one from NCAA. That the truth and nothing but the truth. But I notice it wasn't the same guy I tried to change my pick. like cmon all the good foward from NCAA is getting a contract. So how could i think other wise.

What you are describing is impossible. Either you didn't know there were two Nick Johnsons, or you didn't actually search CBS to see ATL owned one.
In any case, your ignorance is no excuse for pretending it didn't happen. What irks me is your inability to admit you made a mistake.
You'll have to talk with Mike but the final ruling seems like Frank got the NCAA (crappy) Nick Johnson as later on he asks for a place holder for him..
TLDR: Frank fucked you Anton.

The two CBS listings is a CBS error, there is only one Nick Johnson in the NHL. The one you currently own plays in europe as far as I can tell.

the reason i accepted nick johnson in the deal from frank was because CBS had him listed as a PIT player, his height/weight, salary, etc is all there.
for all i knew, this player on CBS was THE nick johnson.
so is this guy on my team just a mislabeled placeholder?

Yeah there seems to have been confusion when Frank requested a placeholder, and CBS dealing with it after somehow (it became a real player somehow??). But you really should own a placeholder for Nick Johnson currently playing in the Czech Republic.
Again, seems to have been some confusion with what happened with that pick, but it seems like they made him take the NCAA Nick Johnson, not the AHL one who Luke owned. That should of been made clear in the place holder earlier, and when you were dealing with Frank as all indications are that he should of known.
