BBKL all-star game

Let's also make an all-star weekend for BBKL. I dont' know if we can do it on cbs but the idea is like....

Total Roster: 40 players (18 skater + 2 goalies for each team)
We have 30 teams, each team MUST have at least 1 player representing their team. And no team can have more than 3 players representing their team. Out of the 40 players, we will have 6 rookies.

So this is how it works, we will have a total of 3 voting phrases, 1 for rookie team, 1 for goalies, 1 for the rest.

Rookie team will be included in the total roster. For the rookie team, a committee (all-star game committee? or just the CC) will select 12 rookies for our voting, 6 players with the highest vote will be selected into the team. (only skaters)

Same goes to goalies, CC or a committee will 8 goalies and the 4 with the highest vote will be playing in the all-star week.

Then we have 60 players selected for voting (2 per team), 30 of them will be selected for the all-star week!! This part is tricky, I don't know how to get it done.. just fucking pick 30 and the rule is in the 40 team roster there's at least 1 player from each team!!

OK, then we will have 2 team captains (let's have the 2 GM in the stanley cup finals last year?) they will pick and select the players!! So after the selection, we will have 2 teams play in a normal week (on-going with our real schedule first week after the all-star break?), and see which team wins!!!! We will also select the MVP for the week and the records will be engraved in our BBKL Hall of Fame!!!!!!!

Fuck im excited.. but can we get it to work or maybe no one likes it?

League votes for 2 teams of 5 starters. 5 East. 5 West?
Then every team nominates one player.
Gms make their picks from there.

lol i think this idea is a lot of pointless work for no reason.

Edit: I maintain that it is pointless, but after thinking it over I have realized that it is good for BBKL in the community sense. So I take back my stupid comment.

Brian Elliott is a highly skilled goaltender.

For a midget hockey team.

And I'm not talking about a children's hockey team.

Both currently have red crosses on CBS, no injured players where nominated.

100% accurate. I skimmed through CBS rosters. You have too many All-star type players.

Oh okay, can I just not have anyone going? I don't want my team represented by Matt Stajan or Brian Elliott. If anyone, Anthony Stewart.

I agree that we should look at BBKL stat counts as compared to the real NHL. also remember that the default CBS "RANK" does not consider our individual league stats. That is a rank based on default offensive scoring categories used in the majority of public leagues. We have [players that may be in say top 30 in scoring but near the top in the three defensive categories. That would potentially put a player in the top 10. We should look at some of those numbers.
