I know Pavelski is injured and a little cold and I don't care
What...Ryan Johnson + Thomas Hickey + Alexei Ponikarovsky is a killing for Pavs? Definately disagree there.anton wroteCOLONuh......
EDIT: holy christ, i thought that said Ryan Johnson and still thought Steve killed it...
this is absurd now really.
So what? Pavelski, and the Sharks organization as a whole really are having a down year. If you honestly believe those two players are comparable, you are an idiot.anton wroteCOLONhttp://bbkl.hockey.cbssports.com/player ... :p/scoring?

poni played 9 more games..woopee.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONAnd last year Pavs played 67 games...anton wroteCOLONthat was last year smart guy.
First off, Poni played 10 more games, not 9. It would have been more, but Poni was benched for several games. Secondly, last season, at age 30 Poni had the second best season (statistically) of his career (50), a total that was surpassed in 10 less games by Pavelski, who is also 4 years younger. At the same point in development Poni was nowhere near were Pavelski (25) currently is. There is no comparison, and the fact that Pavs was the better H2H player (almost across the board) in 10 less games says all that needs to be said.anton wroteCOLONponi played 9 more games..woopee.
you always come out so aggressive in these sort of things and just come off looking like a fool. do some research bud.
That is my biggest issue here as well, Johansson was one of the main pieces in the Toews deal, if Tony didn't intend on rebuilding with him than why did he trade Toews in the first place? It's puzzling really...Raptactics wroteCOLONPersonally, I'd rather Pavelski here. I just find it a little bit of a weird trade. Tony traded Fleischmann and a few other contributing NHLers for prospects and then trades prospects for Pavelski. This is a lot of GMs troubles in this league, you either want to compete and build your roster or you don't.. you've gotta be committed to doing one or the other.
But I guess it's the Sharks love?
its not like Pavs is old or anythingMSP4LYFE wroteCOLONThat is my biggest issue here as well, Johansson was one of the main pieces in the Toews deal, if Tony didn't intend on rebuilding with him than why did he trade Toews in the first place?
