Alex Auld

Since I added Dubnyk recently to pair with Khabibulin, Auld is nothing more than a spare for me although he's played fairly well in his few starts this season. Price is probably playing the highest percentage of his team's minutes in goal but you have to believe he'll need some rest here and there. There were only 6 goalies last year that played 70+ games and 13 that played 60+ games. The opportunity play should be there for Auld at some point. He's only playing once every few weeks but the Canadiens have 3 games in 4 nights this week so there's a potential start in there for him coming up.
Basically, for any team that is using a rookie or AHLer as your #2 goalie, Auld is available for you if you want a veteran guy that might not be playing a lot this year but he's been a reliable guy in other cities and he's only on a 1-year deal with the Canadiens. He's a guy that will have a team every year because teams need solid veteran backups and he himself will just be turning 30 the first part of next month. I'll take a prospect and/or a mid-round draft pick (3rd to 4th round). I'd prefer just taking a draft pick to free up a roster spot. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks!
